Our Villa Oliva with breathtaking sea views is located in the Costa Paradiso nature reserve, which is famous for its beautiful rocky cliffs, coves, azure seas and wild landscapes. The coast is lined with many rock formations and rock pools, which are ideal places for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, diving (diving center on site), windsurfing and fishing. It is suitable for those who are looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of cities and want to enjoy relaxation, trips to nature and wonderful views of the sea. The local natural scenery also offers great opportunities for hiking, running or mountain biking. Costa Paradiso is located on the northern coast of Sardinia, characterized by a pleasant Mediterranean climate with hot summer months and mild winters. The Paradise Coast is suitable for those of you who want to explore the beauties of Sardinia outside the traditional tourist centers.
Accommodation for guests is mainly in villas, terraced houses and apartments located in private gardens in the hills from 200 to 4 000 m from the sea. The houses are perfectly located in the surrounding nature — almost invisible from the sea and from a height thanks to the uniform style of terracotta roofs, ocher facades and privacy-giving greenery. From Costa Paradiso you can enjoy the view of nearby Corsica.
Directly at the Costa Paradiso resort, there are 2 grocery stores, an ice cream shop, a fishmonger, a pharmacy, restaurants, bars/cafés and souvenir shops open during the season.
How do you get to us at Costa Paradiso?
From Olbia or Alghero airport, you can reach us by car about 90 km (90 min.). We recommend renting a car, you will certainly use it in Sardinia and you will be able to get around on the Costa Paradiso.
When traveling by car, you can use the ports on the Italian mainland (Genoa, Livorno) and in Sardinia the port of Olbia or Porto Torres, from which the Costa Paradiso is the closest. In and around the area, you will find several beautiful beaches that are worth a visit:
Li Cossi: a beautiful romantic cove is hidden between pink granite rocks, reached by a panoramic road with breathtaking views, crystal clear sea and flowing river Li Cossi. It is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in the area. Li Baietti: the closest access to the sea from the house, a beautiful stone cove with natural swimming pools, ideal for swimming, snorkelling, diving, fishing and romantic sunsets. La Marinedda (Isola Rossa): a beautiful beach with white sand dunes is surrounded by red granite rocks and is a popular destination for surfers. An international surfing competition is held here every year at the end of August. Right on the beach you will find two bars, where excellent food is served during lunch. Cala Sarraina: This beautiful unspoiled cove with a sandy beach is located near the Costa Paradiso (approx. 4 km) and is famous for its beautiful rocky granite cliffs that change color from pink to orange to red and crystal clear water. It is an ideal place for snorkeling, diving and fishing.
